Storytelling

The KM community seems to see "storytelling" as already past the hype phase. Some folks seem to view the whole topic with some cynicism/suspicion...apparently having seen too many attempts to use storytelling-based tactics to exercise control or impose an agenda.

Regardless, there seems to be broad agreement that much of human sensemaking is based in the use of narrative fragments (with the more recently activated ones being most likely to be recalled) in a bricolage fashion to assemble a storyline that fits the current decision context.
